In short
Four musicians from Eksjö, a town of ten thousand in southern Sweden, who built an audience online before a label took an interest. The sound is melodic death metal with the melody rationed: down-tuned single-note riffs, Niklas Karlsson's rasp doubled by clean chants, and a mechanical mid-tempo pulse closer to the Black Album than to Gothenburg.
Where it sits
Orbit Culture formed in 2013 in Sweden. This tree dates Melodic death metal from 1993, twenty years earlier. Four records here, 2016 to 2025.
