The difference, by ear
Mincecore is the neighbouring genre with the same brevity, a comic bent and explicit politics.
Both are growled or screamed and move at much the same pace, around 200 to 300 bpm. Songs run longer in goregrind: usually under a minute to 2 minutes, against under a minute to 1 minutes in mincecore. To hear the difference, play Carcass next to Agathocles. Both grew out of grindcore, goregrind first and mincecore two years after.
